What the Catechists have to say:

“I had such a wonderful year teaching RFY!  As is so often the case, I got so much more out of the experience than I could have imagined and can only hope and pray I left an impression on the children.” - Julie Davis (2nd grade catechist)

“Teaching young adults nearing their time of confirmation is challenging, but rewarding as you listen to discussions between peers— it deepened my faith and made me proud to be a small part of their formation.” - Jennifer Hogseth Boyd (7th grade catechist)

“I have been teaching in the Early Childhood religion program for many years.  I love teaching the children about Jesus and seeing their smiling faces, it is very rewarding.  I love seeing how much they grow from start to finish in learning about our faith and seeing those smiling faces when they walk in the door.” - Carol Zacher (Early Childhood catechist)

“Embracing my faith in the Lord helped me rekindle why it is to the utmost importance to” teach our faith with our children in a new generation where it becomes harder for them to express their own beliefs in a casual way with peers.” - Bonnie Sobkowiak  (5th grade catechist)

“My experience teaching junior high RFY has allowed me to understand how students approach their faith and how to better connect the teachings of Jesus through their lenses and daily realities.” - Tracy Grosick (6th grade catechist)
