Grades 1-8 Classroom Program

Grades 1-8 Religious Formation of Youth (RFY) Classroom program

Religious Formation of Youth (RFY) is an educational program for students in grades 1-8 who attend public or non-Catholic private schools and desire to:

  • Receive a Catholic education
  • Celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, 1st Penance, 1st Communion, and Confirmation

The traditional classroom program meets weekly on Monday evenings for youth in grades 1-8.  A weekly Sunday evening option is available for youth in grades 4-8.  Classes begin in late August and continue through April. We use the PFLAUM Gospel Weeklies, a liturgically based curriculum that fosters a growing relationship with Jesus and a solid understanding of the Catholic Faith.  Monthly Adoration in our Chapel encourages a deeper relationship with Jesus.  Large group activities nurture a spirit of community with peers and Evening Prayer nurtures a spirit of community with our parish family.   Each year our students are involved in a Catholic Social Teaching service project, supporting neighbors in need, locally and beyond.

Registration for the 2018-19 school year is now OPEN. Registration packets will be at church and on this page to the right.  Take advantage of the early bird rate for our classroom programs and register by 6/1/2018. Final registration deadline for classroom program is 8/1/2018.  FEES APPLY.

Grade 1-8 Home Study hard deadline is 6/1/2018 - No late registrations accepted.  FEES APPLY.

VIRTUS Child Protection

All adults who work with children on a regular basis need to have a background check and attend the VIRTUS Child Protection Workshop.  Pre-register for a workshop and obtain your background check at VIRTUS Online.  Contact Ruth Trentman in the Parish office to get a Fastrax token to pay for your background check.

An approval letter must be received by the parish BEFORE volunteer work can begin.  Click the picture above for more information.
