Children's Liturgy of the Word

Children's Liturgy of the Word

Have you ever see one of our Deacons at Mass call up children just before the 1st reading, offer a blessing,  dismiss them and wonder where they were going?

Led by a prayer leader, children leave the main sanctuary to experience the Liturgy of the Word in a simpler, child friendly format. They hear the readings proclaimed out of the Children’s Lectionary, sing the psalm and gospel acclamation together, and interact with their leaders in unique ways that enable them to grasp the meaning behind the scriptures.

Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is for children in grades Kindergarten (age 5) through 3rd grade. CLOW happens at most 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM Sunday Masses. Check us out! We’d be excited to share the Word of God with your child, to learn and grow together.
