Through the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, Jesus offers us the healing power of God through sacramental signs.  Once understood only as “last rites”, the Church celebrates this powerful sacrament with all those who are seriously ill, suffering from advanced age, or approaching serious medical procedures. Jesus comforts and heals us through anointing with oil and the laying on of hands.
