Eucharist

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it.

First Communion

For Youth

The purpose of sacramental preparation at St. Max is to encourage parents in their faith and support them in the preparation of their children for the reception of First Penance and First Communion.

Visit our Together in Jesus Children’s Sacrament Preparation Page for families participating the Religious Formation of Youth (RFY) program at Saint Max.

For Adults

Our program Becoming Catholic is for adults who are considering becoming full members of the Catholic Church.

This includes people who are seeking the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation, but also those who come from another faith tradition.

Visiting the Homebound, Hospitalized, and Nursing Homes

By receiving Holy Communion, the sick are sacramentally united to the Christian community.  If you or a loved one are homebound or hospitalized, please contact Lakme Kodros, Director of Outreach & Stewardship, to arrange for a minister to bring Holy Communion.
