FUEL is our mainstream formal formation for preschool through grade 8.
About
Fuel is our mainstream youth formation program. Choose family home-study or in-person family gatherings. Note: Parents/guardians are required to be at the family gatherings with their children.
Choose Fuel if:
Your eldest child is entering preschool (age 3 by August 1), kindergarten or first grade .
Last year your child completed a year of formation at St. Max, another Catholic parish, or was homeschooled with a Catholic curriculum.
Note: Ongoing participation in formal formation (first grade and up) is required for the celebration of the sacraments.

If you choose in-person formal formation, here are the 2025-26 Faith on Fire Gathering dates: Sept. 21/22, Sept. 28/29, Oct. 12/13, Oct. 26/27, Nov. 9/10, Nov. 23/24, Dec. 14/15, Jan. 11/12, Feb. 1/2, Feb. 22/23, Mar. 8/9, Mar. 22/23.
Note: The frequency of the gatherings fluctuate during the year. Please add all dates to your calendar now so that you don’t miss anything.
