Marriage Enrichment

Marriage Enrichment

Pope Saint John Paul II taught, "Marriage is an act of will that signifies and involves a mutual gift, which unites the spouses and binds them to their eventual souls, with whom they make up a sole family - a domestic church."

The Marriage Enrichment Ministry exists to support marriages in the parish, which are the backbone of the domestic church. In a time when popular culture seems to be against the institution of marriage, we strive to provide tools to help the married couples of the parish to be counter-cultural, and build marriages that last a lifetime. To this end, we currently offer two annual events: a Wine Tasting in the fall and a Breakfast in the spring. In addition, we periodically offer small faith group sessions and retreats. We hope to have additional marriage enrichment opportunities in the future. We aim to provide our events at little or no cost to parishioners. Many events offer childcare free of charge.

Marriage Enrichment Events

The Wine Tasting in the fall offers a fun evening that gives couples a chance to reconnect with one another and with other couples in the parish. A great way to support our own marriages is to surround ourselves with other couples who share our same Catholic values.

The Breakfast in the spring offers a speaker on a topic of marriage and family, and is designed to give couples tools to help them build up their marriages, and grow closer to each other and to Christ.
