Lenten Outreach Project

THANK YOU for supporting our Lenten outreach project, Sleep in Heavenly Peace! We collected over $10,000 plus dozens of sheets, blankets, pillows and mattress pads! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

To complete this Lenten project, we are sponsoring a Build Day Sunday, May 7, 1-5PM, on our parking lot near the garage. The $10,000 we collected will allow us to build 50 beds. However, there are currently 150 children on the waiting list. If you haven’t already, won’t you consider a cash donation or volunteer your time to help build the beds? A gift of $250 will sponsor an entire bed for one child. If a child needs a bed, help us ensure they get one! 

Volunteers will learn valuable trade and craft skills while networking and building relationships. SHP will provide all power tools and hand tools for volunteers to build bunk beds.

Children between the ages of 10 and 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please, no children under 10 due to the nature of the work we will be doing.
