Coats for Kids

Let's provide warmth for children in need during the cold winter months!  As part of a nationwide initiative by the Knights of Columbus, the Coats for Kids program has a goal to ensure that no child in North America goes without a coat during the winter season.

Our local council will be collecting for this effort, and 100% of the collection will go directly towards the purchasing of these coats for local outreach centers. We will round up any shortfall to ensure that all the funds are used.

The Knights of Columbus "Coats for Kids" coat drive will be on the weekends of October 14-15 and October 21-22  after all Masses. The generosity of St Max parishioners last year allowed the knights to provide over 350 coats to children in St, Leo the Great Parish, West Chester and Liberty Townships (Reach Out Lakota) and West Liberty Outreach (West Liberty, KY). Thank you for your past support, and we hope you can help again this year.

The Knights of Columbus provide coats for needy children every year. You can help us in this worthy cause by purchasing a brand new coat for $21/$26 (child/teen) each. If you would like to sponsor a case of coats, the cost is $250.00 for children or $305.00 for teens. A half-case is $125.00 (child) and $152.50 (teen).

The Knights will be delivering coats around Thanksgiving. Let’s make sure no kid has to be cold this winter!

This event is now closed - Thank You so much to all who donated!! We will have this event return next fall.
