Kamp Kolbe

Join us for a faith camp experience for preschoolers!

Tuesday, July 18, 2023 - Thursday, July 20, 2023

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to ongoing construction, all Kamp Kolbe families must park by and use the gym entrance. Check-In and Check-Out will be in Room 16.

Little ones will enjoy learning about Jesus and Mary through songs, prayers, and crafts. Snacks are provided by our parish. Kamp Kolbe is for potty-trained preschoolers aged 3 through incoming Kindergarten.

Kamp Kolbe will take place on July 18-20, 2023 from 9:30AM-11:30AM.  Check-in begins at 9:15AM. Preschoolers are encouraged to attend Mass with their parents before joining us in the Youth Room (Room 16) for check-in.  Kamp Kolbe will start at 9:30AM.

After drop off, Kamp Kolbe will begin each day with sensory play and circle time.

At circle time we will pray, cover the daily theme, and learn songs. We will move around inside and outside playing games, making a craft, and having a snack.

Each day will conclude with signout/dismissal from the Youth Room (Room 16).

In order for Kamp Kolbe to be possible, we will need adult volunteers! These parents need to be up-to-date on their Safe Parish training.  Please click the button below to signup to help!

Registration is Closed.

Day One: The Rosary

Kamp Kolbe will learn about Jesus and His Mother, Mary, and the prayer that she gave us, the Rosary. We will take a look at what the beads of a rosary look like and make our own simple (one decade) rosary bracelets.

Day Two: The Baptism of Jesus

Kamp Kolbe will learn about Jesus’ baptism. We will begin by playing with baby dolls and pretending to baptize them with water, then we will visit the Baptismal font to talk about what happens during a baptism. We will read books, sing songs, and make a craft depicting Jesus’ Baptism.

Day Three: The Wedding at Cana

Kamp Kolbe will read about Jesus’ first miracle - turning water to wine at a wedding. We will learn what a miracle is and read books about Jesus’ miracles . We will discuss celebrations and have a wedding dance party, and we will make a craft which shows water turning into wine!
