2020 has been a unique year to say the very least. We have spoken to our agency partners and as you can imagine the need this year is greater than ever. Because of social distancing guidelines, we are unable to host in person sign ups as we have done in past years. Fortunately, we live in a world of technology and have a solution!
Why: Because many families in our area need your help. Last year your generosity provided over 350 families with much needed FOOD for their families - not just Christmas dinner but basics for additional meals, baking needs and paper goods. (No toys or clothing please. There will be separate opportunities for these items).
How: Sign-up by picking your drop off date below. You will receive an email confirmation with your family number, size and drop off date. We suggest that baskets be valued at $30 per person (Family of 4 = $120 value). You can donate as a family, individual, or go in with a group.
There are two drop off dates for baskets: Saturday, December 5 from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM (in the St. Max parking lot) Saturday, December 12 10:30 AM-11:30 AM (at West Chester Presbyterian Church on Cin-Day Rd.) These dates, times and locations are not interchangeable. *We apologize for any inconvenience but we were not given any specifics on the families this year. All we know is the number of persons in each family. Thank you.
If you have any questions please contact: Heather LaMarca, 513-498-2523 or Dennis Blake, 513-543-6954 or email ChristmasBaskets@saint-max.org.
We are incredibly grateful that you are able to help our neighbors in need, especially this year when so many families are struggling.
Plan to spend a minimum of $30.00 per family member. This food basket is intended to help a family for more than one meal. If this is more than you can afford, please join together with someone else. Please do not include gifts; we have separate programs for gifts. Do not include gift cards or cash.
Use sturdy, closed boxes weighing no more than 10 lbs. For ease of handling, use smaller boxes rather than large ones. Computer/copier paper boxes work well, as do the book boxes that you can purchase at U-Haul and Ryder locations. No bags, please.
When you signed up online you received a Family ID # with your confirmation email. Clearly label each box with the family ID number and the total number of boxes (e.g., ROL #201-BOX 1 of 4, ROL #201-BOX 2 of 4, etc.). Do not gift wrap the outside of the boxes.
There are 2 unique drop off dates and locations noted in the confirmation email you received. THESE ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE Deliveries are made immediately following the completion of the return, late deliveries cannot be accepted.
