Saint Max Church


Relic Tour 2023

In order to renew faith in Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, the relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis and St. Manuel Gonzalez Garcia have been brought to the United States. St. Max is blessed to be one of three parishes within the Archdiocese to host their relic tour. Both Bl. Carlo and St. Manuel Gonzalez Garcia are being held up as a witness of the National Eucharistic Revival. Their relics will be touring the Archdiocese of Cincinnati from January 14, 2023 through February 5, 2023.

Blessed Carlo Acutis

Bl. Carlo was an Italian teenager who used technology to spread devotion to the Eucharist. In 2006, he died at the young age of fifteen from leukemia. He offered all his sufferings for the Church. Pope Francis has called him a role model for young people. He was beatified in 2020. To learn more about Bl. Carlo, click here.

Saint Manuel Gonzalez Garcia

St. Manuel was a Spanish Bishop, who served as the Bishop of Palencia from 1935 until his death in 1940. He is known for his strong devotion to the Eucharist, and as the founder of the Eucharistic Missionaries of Nazareth. He was beatified in 2001 by Pope John Paul II. In 2016, he was canonized by Pope Francis. To learn more about St. Manuel, click here.
